Are you looking for a quiet campingspot in the 'real' Portugal?
Lets
start by telling you what we don't have. We don't have a sauna,
campingshop, reception, restaurant, bicycle-rent, amusement-team
or playground. But..we do have a very lovely terrain with
a swimming pool and all common facilities in which you'll be able
to enjoy the Portugean nature in all tranquility. The large rocks are very well suited for a hike or a climb. In the evenings they are nice and warm to sit and relax on, reading or just reminiscing the day. We have provided a swimming pool, a petanque field and other party games.
You'll also be
able to use our douche with separate toilet and dishwash facilities.
 We
are Ronald, Aty and Esther, owners of a beautiful terrain in central Portugal.
The terrain consists of several terraces (fields on various heights),
some huge rocks and a little forest. We're located about half a
mile away from 'Travanca de Lagos', a friendly and authentic
Portugean village with bars. The last 600 yards
of the road to our quinta is a dirt road. So while the village is
only a 10 minute walk away, we're still in the middle of nature,
separated from the road. In the background you'll see the mountains
of Serra de Estrela. You can hear the tits, the cuckoo,
the woodpecker and it's not unlikely you'll spot various others.
Tranquility and privacy are very important things to us. This doesn't
keep us from having a friendly and personal approach. If you're
looking for company, feel free to use our (covered) porch with barbecue.
If you want us to serve your daily breakfast you will also find
it here.
 We
are trying to keep everything small-scaled and we would like to
think we have created some neat campingspots, with plenty of green
and privacy. You are staying in one of our decorated piramidtents
or caravan surrounded by olive or fruit trees (or) at the edge of
the forest.
If you want to bring a caravan or tent, you are naturally
equally welcome.
Because of its setting and terrace shaped area, we can mainly accommodate tents on our camp ground.
The camp site is car-free.
However, we do have a small area where we can accommodate some caravans or campers.
We would like to advise you to check or make reservations in advance in view of the limited number of places.
To access the internet during your stay, simply
bring your laptop and connect to the wireless network.(Wifi)
